The Pewsey Vale is a spectacular range of hills in central Wiltshire. You can walk for hours without meeting a soul, with just the incredible views for company. On a bright day in October, the stands of beech trees were glowing in the morning sun, creating a soft transition into autumn.
This watercolour is painted on a whole sheet of heavy watercolour paper, with a light charcoal underdrawing to create form and shadows.

Image size 46x64cm, framed size 62x80cm (with non-reflective UV resistant glass).
This painting is presented in an off white mount with a plain waxed ash frame.
Delivery – as this piece is framed under glass it will need to be collected in person from the studio in Wiltshire.
