Watercolour Classes in Marlborough
I run small group watercolour/mixed media lessons throughout the year at my studio near Marlborough. These run weekly and are stand-alone sessions that can accommodate complete beginners or more experienced painters, so you can join at any time and paint as often as you wish. However, regular attenders find that their skills improve greatly with consistent practice and reinforcement of skills and techniques, as with any activity.
Relax with your paints and brushes
The sessions are fun and very relaxed, with lots of individual help as needed. Subjects for painting will focus mainly on landscapes (especially lovely local ones) and seascapes, with some other subjects from the natural world from time to time.
Students bring any paints and brushes that they have and I provide the watercolour paper and anything else that’s needed. Lessons are bookable and paid for in advance, currently at £27.50 per session. Please do get in touch and let me know when you’d like to come along.

In this day workshop I’ll be demonstrating how to create darker areas in a painting and ways to create interesting textures for rocks and sand.
