A dreamlike interpretation of the rugged North Yorkshire coast on a beautiful clear day. This little painting was inspired by a much bigger work and was built up gradually with many layers of translucent glazes and opaque areas.
Acrylic ink and acrylic paint on wood panel.

The painted panel is floated in a tray frame with a 5mm shadow gap on all sides. The frame is hand-finished and painted in Farrow & Ball All White (a crisp bright white).
