Cornish Winter

The north coast of Cornwall is famous for its forceful Atlantic waves, making it both inhospitable and beautiful at the same time. I wanted to capture the view in a quieter moment, with the winter sun hitting the bright surf and creating deep blue shadows.
This large piece was created with layers of graphite, Indian ink, watercolour and coloured pencil.

The painting is presented in an off white mount and hand painted hardwood frame in cool grey.
Delivery – as this piece is framed under glass it will need to be collected in person from the studio in Wiltshire.
