Opening night at Made in the Pewsey Vale

After a very busy and enjoyable opening night, my show Home Ground is now on at the MADE in the Pewsey Vale gallery, 25 High Street, Pewsey.  It runs until Saturday 17th May and I will be in attendance at the gallery daily between 10am and 4pm, if you get a chance to call in.

The theme of the show, Home Ground, alludes to the comforting feeling that can develop from time spent in nature, observing the regularity of the seasonal changes and anticipating the next ones.  The paintings have elicited many lovely comments, to my joy (and relief), and I’ve received various accolades ranging from “Kate, you’re wildly talented” to “Cor!”, and I’m very happy with both sets of feedback!

It’s been an absolute privilege to display my work in such a lovely space, and totally on my own terms. Ultimately, though, I really can’t wait to get outside again, and working on my next series of paintings.
