A large-scale painting of open woodland near my home in Wiltshire. The pale tree trunks make a striking contrast against the rich autumn foliage. This piece is painted in watercolour and gouache on a whole sheet of heavy watercolour paper.

The painting is float mounted and framed to show the deckle edge of the paper. The frame is hand-finished and painted in Farrow & Ball Wimborne White.
