Early Snow Fall

Limited edition Giclée print of an original watercolour. A fall of snow at Avebury is a magnet for visitors, with the blanket of white obscuring all details apart from the intentional shaping of the landscape. Strong verticals of ancient trees and standing stones add to the unique atmosphere.

Indian ink was used to establish the trees and distant horizon, with watercolour added gradually to build up the shadows and contours.
